The center of Chekov fandom
This commemorative magazine was created by an eclectic international group of fans
as a gift for Walter Koenig on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Chekov’s first
appearance on our television screens: September 15, 2007.

The text contained within these pages has not been edited.  Each fan’s own words
reflect on what the character of Chekov–and Walter’s portrayal of him–has meant to
them. Some of their thoughts are scholarly, some of them humorous, and some of them
are outright heartwarming. They are all genuine.

This 124 page, full color magazine was a labor of love for everyone who participated
in its creation–and many more wanted to but could not due to time constraints. Join us
as we reflect on a forty year journey with Pavel A. Chekov...

and as we thank Walter Koenig for the trip.
How to get a printed copy of the commemorative fanzine:
You are welcome to download the pdf file and print it out yourself,
or bring it to your local print shop to print a copy for yourself.
This is both a fanzine and copyrighted, however: DO NOT print copies to sell!!

If you want a high resolution printed copy (300dpi, versus the web 72 dpi),
a large print shop that handles Orion Press fanzines has stepped up and offered to print the 124 full color,
high resolution magazine with a spiral binding and clear covers for the low price of $39.99, shipping
included.
For each magazine sold the entire profit of $1.34 will be donated to the U.S. Campaign for Burma, Walter's
current charity of choice. For more information on the Walter's trip to Thailand, visit
The Walter Koenig
Site, for more information on the crisis in Burma visit The US Campaign for Burma.
