Walter Koenig's Star
on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Walk of Fame Committee at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will vote in June 2009 on
whether to award 49-year veteran actor, writer, director, teacher and producer - Walter
Koenig - a star on the Walk of Fame.

Walter created not only the iconic "Chekov"; on Star Trek, but "the man we most love to hate",
"Bester"; on Babylon 5. He has appeared as over 59 different characters during over 150
television appearances during his 49 year career.

It is time now that the last star for the original Star Trek cast is awarded as the torch is
passed onto a new cast with the premier of "Star Trek XI"; in May of 2009. The website staff
here ask that people do everything they can to encourage the committee to vote to award
Walter much deserved star!

Visit our Star page for all the information on how YOU can help make this happen!!

Thanks to fan and friend, Ralph Miller, for the funny "Walter's Star" video on YouTube!

The center of Chekov Fandom!!
This commemorative magazine was created by an eclectic
international group of fans as a gift for Walter Koenig on the
occasion of the 40th anniversary of Chekov’s first appearance on
our television screens: September 15, 2007.

The text contained within these pages has not been edited.  Each
fan’s own words reflect on what the character of Chekov–and
Walter’s portrayal of him–has meant to them. Some of their
thoughts are scholarly, some of them humorous, and some of them
are outright heartwarming. They are all genuine.

This 124 page, full color magazine was a labor of love for
everyone who participated in its creation–and many more wanted
to but could not due to time constraints. Join us as we reflect on
a forty year journey with Pavel A. Chekov...

and as we thank Walter Koenig for the trip.
Happy Anniversary Pavel Chekov!

"Star Trek:Of Gods and Men"

Chekov and Uhura are thrust into an adventure in a parallel universe
where Captain James T. Kirk never existed, and the galaxy is in
turmoil. "Striving to go where no fan film has gone before", "Star
Trek: Of Gods and Men" is an 87-minute film featuring a cast of
alumni from all five Star Trek TV series, as well as eight of the
feature films.

See Walter play Chekov as you've never seen him before!
